Boris Epie

Boris Epie, the class of 2018 Valedictorian, will be making his new home in New Haven, Connecticut at Yale University this fall. Boris intends to major in Chemistry but is also interested in studying Linguistics and Foreign Affairs. Hailing from Gabon, Africa, Boris came to the Waldorf School of Garden City in 5th grade. Boris served as Captain of the Varsity soccer team, Student Body Co-President, and commanded lead performances in all of our high school musicals. Boris was also a leader in Model UN, President of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, and a founding member of our high school a capella group, Fermata the Blue. For his many achievements, Boris was selected as the first recipient of the Peter A. Zimmerman, M.D., J.D. Award in Recognition of Academic and Intellectual Excellence.
