​Shuyi Chen

Shuyi Chen ’16 is a wonderful young lady with a warm smile and respectful nature. She arrived at the Waldorf School of Garden City as a 14-year-old girl after living her entire life with her family in China. She left the comforts of home to obtain an education in the United States that is rich in the arts and that would nurture her incredible musical talent. Our halls fill with her beautiful, rich music which is further nurtured at Manhattan School of Music. We are excited to see her music career continue at the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford.
