Deepjot Singh Sohal

A natural leader and a self-proclaimed “social butterfly,” Deepjot Singh Sohal ’15, has been a major presence in our School. His strong public speaking skills have served him well in class, Model UN, and as Mr. Potter in the Senior Class production of It’s a Wonderful Life. His performance in the play was truly one of the highlights—he transformed into the nasty, shrewd businessman. This shows that he is also a good actor since these are personality traits Deepjot does not possess! Soccer has also been an important activity for him as he has played since he was very young on both community and school teams (he was captain of the Varsity Boys’ Team this year). His gregarious personality and warm approachability are an excellent foundation for the bedside manner he will need as a physician, his chosen profession. His volunteer work at Elmhurst Hospital in the ICU Unit confirmed that is the path for him. Deepjot will start on this journey at The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
