International Students
The Waldorf School of Garden City’s ideas and people cross more than academic disciplines – they transcend languages and nations. The Waldorf School of Garden City is committed to developing an international network of scholars that span the continents. Currently, 15% of our matriculated high school student body represent countries outside of the United States. Our international students enrich our school environment with their different experiences, perspectives and cultures.
International Applicants are asked to complete the same application process as domestic students.
BUT International HS applicants must also submit TOEFL Scores with their application. We require a score of 80 or above for 9th grade applicants and a 90 or above for 10-12 grade applicants.
For applicants outside of the US we are able to arrange SKYPE interviews if necessary.
The Waldorf School of Garden City is able to issue I-20 documents necessary to procure a student visa to study in the United States. The School also keeps a referral list of homestay providers.
