Hanneke Van Riel is an Associate Faculty member in the Department of Education at Antioch University New England. Her areas of expertise include; Waldorf curriculum, special needs and remedial methods. Hanneke received her MS from Worcester State College in Education and Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. She has been a teacher, special educator, and consultant in public, Waldorf, and other independent schools for four decades.

Math in the Waldorf Curriculum: Geometry and Imagination

Marisha Plotnik, an adjunct researcher at the Nature Institute, has been teaching Physics and Mathematics at Waldorf schools for almost 20 years. She graduated from the Toronto Waldorf School, earned her Honours B.Sc. (Physics) from Trent University, her B.Ed. from the University of Western Ontario and her M.A. (Education Leadership) as a Klingenstein Fellow at Teachers College, Columbia University. She received her Waldorf High School Teaching Certificate (Mathematics) from the Center for Anthroposophy. Marisha currently serves as a visiting teacher, mentor, and consultant at Waldorf schools across the country. Her primary interest is collaborating with teachers wishing to deepen their work.

Elizabeth Hall, received a BA from Earlham College where she majored in Spanish Literature and English Literature and minored in Art History. She received her MA Ed., from Antioch University and holds a Waldorf Teacher Certification and a Certificate in Curative Education (Camphill Special Schools). Elizabeth has been a Waldorf class teacher for Grades 1-8 for several years. Prior to joining Green Meadow Waldorf School in 2006, she served as an elementary school chair and on the College of Teachers at the Baltimore Waldorf School. Elizabeth is a former summer camp director and holds a New Hampshire state teaching certificate for grades 1-6.
