Waldorf Watch: GSA Raises $180 For LIGALY

Led by juniors, Zoe Baker and Harry Wozniak, the School’s Gay/Straight Alliance (GSA) recently sponsored a Day of Silence to raise awareness about bullied LGBT youth. Each High School student who took part donated $5 and received a button (pictured left) to wear throughout the day to indicate their participation. The GSA raised $180 and donated it to Long Island Gay and Lesbian Youth (LIGALY), an organization that works to build community, provide a home and safe space for all, and end anti-LGBT bullying.

Congratulations to the GSA for doing their part to help their fellow students across Long Island.
